Overview

Sabi Rewrite Keyboard ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our keyboard extension for iOS.

Information We Do Not Collect

Sabi Rewrite Keyboard is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not:

• Collect, store, or transmit any text you type
• Track your keystrokes or typing patterns
• Store any personal information on our servers
• Share any data with third parties for advertising purposes
• Create user profiles or track you across apps

How the App Works

When you use Sabi Rewrite Keyboard to rewrite text:

• Text is sent directly from your device to the language model provider you have selected (either our built-in service or your own API key provider)
• The rewritten text is returned directly to your device
• No text is stored on any intermediate servers
• Processing happens in real-time and is not logged

API Keys

If you choose to use your own API key (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.), your API key is stored securely on your device only. We never transmit, store, or have access to your API keys. Your API key is used solely to authenticate requests directly between your device and your chosen provider.

Built-in Service

If you use our built-in rewriting service (currently in beta), text you submit for rewriting is processed by our language model infrastructure. We do not log, store, or retain any text submitted through this service. Text is processed in real-time and immediately discarded after the response is generated.

Third-Party Services

When you use third-party API providers (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, etc.) with your own API key, your text is subject to those providers' privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

Network Access

The keyboard requires network access ("Full Access" on iOS) solely to communicate with language model providers for text rewriting. This access is never used to transmit any other data from your device.

Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (such as the number of rewrites performed) to improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify individual users or reconstruct any text content.

Children's Privacy

Sabi Rewrite Keyboard is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
